The Role.
Candi Therapy partners with organizations across Ontario, Canada, to provide mental health consulting services for First Nations schools and communities. By working collaboratively, we aim to improve mental health outcomes in alignment with the unique needs and priorities of each school and community.
Our mental health consulting services are designed to enhance the mental health capacity of students and school staff while identifying and addressing the specific mental health challenges faced by students within their community context.
Through mental health education and professional development opportunities, we strive to expand knowledge and practices in schools while honoring the unique and diverse mental health needs of the communities we serve.
Additionally, Candi Therapy actively seeks partnerships with other organizations to support initiatives that foster mental wellness, cultural enrichment, and community development.
The Work.
Collaborating with partners to identify gaps in mental health needs and develop actionable steps to enhance students' mental health using a holistic, culturally-informed, and evidence-based approach.
Conducting individual and group consultations with school staff to assess their mental health needs and make evidence-informed decisions regarding best practices and effective approaches.
Managing projects and initiatives that align with the identified goals and contribute to meaningful progress in addressing mental health priorities.
The Deliverables.

Provide individual and group mental health counseling services for children and their families.
