The Role.
Candi Therapy collaborates with international aid organizations such as Humanity First and The Salvation Army to deliver mental health consulting and training for the frontline staff and volunteers of their Emergency Disaster Response (EDR) teams. Through targeted training and skill-building initiatives, we aim to enhance the mental resilience and adaptability of individuals working in high-stress environments.
Our mental health consulting services are designed to support the emotional well-being and mental balance of individuals operating in demanding situations, such as environmental evacuations, states of emergency, and climate or weather-related disasters.
Candi Therapy is committed to supporting EDR teams before, during, and after deployment through workshops, individual and group consultations, and keynote speaking engagements.
The Work.
Collaborating with partners to identify gaps in mental health support and establish actionable goals to enhance the well-being of frontline staff and volunteers, with a focus on the unique challenges of high-stress and hazardous work environments.
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individual and team mental health needs through consultations to inform evidence-based decisions on best practices and strategies.
Providing ongoing consultations to ensure the organization’s needs are met and that mental health services align with WHO guidelines and policies.
